Fusion Engineering is looking to add a High-Tech Sales Lead to the team starting as soon as possible.

Join Fusion Engineering’s dynamic team in Delft, as a High-Tech Sales Lead, where you’ll spearhead the market expansion of cutting-edge drone flight control systems — the brains of a drone, showcasing your high-tech sales expertise, technical acumen, and passion for innovation to drive the future of drone applications in a scale-up environment.

Fusion’s innovations are pushing the drone industry to new levels and enabling future applications. Focusing on commercial and industrial applications such as offshore wind turbine maintenance, last-mile delivery, search and rescue, infrastructure inspections, and security. Improving the performance and safety of drones to allow them to become a part of our daily lives.

Work in a small team, flexible, dynamic and with a high amount of autonomy. International travel to conferences and customers will be a part of this role. The focus is on generating commercial results, initially individually with support from the rest of the team. As we raise more investment and scale up you will have the opportunity to build a team to achieve the company’s targets.

Your job

As a High Tech Sales Lead at Fusion, you will work together with other members from the commercial and technical teams to understand the market needs and develop strategies to bring various solutions to the market. In your role, you will:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for advanced drone flight control technologies.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships in the commercial drone market.
  • Develop expertise in Fusion Engineering products, focusing on the Fusion Reflex flight controller.
  • Understand client needs and collaborating with the technical teams for any tailored solutions.
  • Perform presentations and demonstrations to clients and at industry events.
  • Negotiate contracts and achieve sales targets.
  • Work full-time with flexible work-from-home options, while maintaining a regular office presence.

What we ask of you: 

  • 2+ years in high-tech sales, preferably in drones or related industries.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player passionate about technology and innovation.
  • Strong technical understanding is a plus.
